Sport climbing: Roxtar is mostly involved in equipping and maintenance of
sport climbing routes. There are thousands of routes on the island and you
will find the most important ones in our guidebooks or downloads.
New areas are developed on a daily base and we might have some
interesting surprises up our sleeves when you visit the roxtore.
Looking for easy grades? Don’t worry there is more than enough to climb
on Tenerife. You might have to change to a different area from day to day,
but isn’t that part of the climbing adventure?
We might have some interesting surprises up our sleeves when you visit us
in the Roxtore.
Bouldering: Welcome to boulder paradise! Go to the download page and
get the Arico Nuevo boulder guide.
Rent a crashpad at the Roxtore and we will definitely give you some more
tips and topo’s.
Trad climbing: If you like trad and multipitching you are definitely in the
right place, but… info’s are old or rare. Be sure to be able to build a belay
point or even better: Hire a guide from ocho-escalada to go with you and live
an unforgettable experience.
We’ve put some links to local trad pages on our download page (in Spanish)
Important!
To be able to climb in Guaria or El Roquito de Jama you need to
apply for a permit. Clicking here you can download the form, which
you need to complete, sign and then send by email to
violeta@tenerife.es or by fax: ++34 922 23 91 94 at the attention of
Violeta. It will take her +/- 1 week to send you the permit (in Spanish).
The permit is free, will inform you about the regulations for those
protected areas and is valid from the day you receive it until the 31st
of December of that same year.
The climbing area of Martiánez is permanently closed
